IBR-073 error
Dates must be YYYY-MM-DD
Every date (issue, due, tax point, delivery, period start and end) must be written as YYYY-MM-DD.
01/10/2026 is 1 October in Dubai and 10 January in an American ERP. ISO dates remove the guess.
Fails
<cbc:IssueDate>01/10/2026</cbc:IssueDate>
Fix
Reformat the date. If the source is ambiguous like 01/10/2026, decide which convention it used first. PintLint's fix reads DD/MM (the UAE norm) and asks you to confirm.
Passes
<cbc:IssueDate>2026-10-01</cbc:IssueDate>
